The NextStay Fellow, Tech Ops & Programs role is an internship‑level Technical Program Manager position within Airbnb’s engineering organization. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include taking direction from a manager or senior TPMs and turning it into concrete project plans, breaking work into trackable pieces, monitoring progress with input and output metrics, and surfacing potential slippage early. The fellow leads team alignment, holds contributors accountable to deliverables and milestones, identifies and tracks risks, and communicates project vision and success criteria to stakeholders. Participation in cultural and functional excellence activities such as mentorship, diversity and inclusion programs, and hackathons is expected. The role suits candidates with a foundation in program management who are comfortable working across engineering, product, and operations teams, can manage scope, schedule, and quality trade‑offs, and are transitioning service members currently enrolled in the USSOCOM Warrior Care Program.
