10-10 years experienceAbout the Role We are building an elite AI Platform & Agentic Apps team at Robinhood. The Staff Machine Learning Engineer will design and build the agent harness, ensure trustworthiness at scale, and define technical direction. Responsibilities Design and build the core agent harness including orchestration, tool integrations, context and memory management. Ship end‑to‑end agentic applications on the harness and feed learnings back into the platform. Build trajectory‑level evaluation systems with simulation environments and synthetic task generation. Architect action guardrails such as permission models, human‑approval gates, sandboxing and rollback. Create SDKs, CI regression gates, continuous red‑teamings and production tracing for other teams. Set technical standards through architecture reviews, code reviews and mentorship. Requirements 10+ years of experience in machine learning and AI engineering. Strong background in platform development, orchestration and tool integration. Experience building evaluation systems, simulation environments and guardrails. Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, SDK development and production monitoring. Ability to mentor engineers and lead technical direction. Eligibility Not specified.
