The role is senior software engineer focusing on AI security, based in Menlo Park, CA and Bellevue, WA with in‑person attendance at least three days per week. Responsibilities Design and build a scalable AI platform and foundational services, APIs, libraries, and SDKs. Design secure systems with identity, authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection controls. Build and operate large‑scale distributed systems supporting AI‑powered security use cases. Partner with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to create reusable platform capabilities. Identify opportunities to improve performance, developer experience, reliability, and security through automation. Help shape technical direction and architecture of the AI Security platform. Requirements 5+ years of software development experience. 3+ years building large‑scale distributed systems with security focus. Experience building AI platforms or infrastructure. Proficiency in Go or Python. Experience with cloud‑native platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, gRPC, or Kafka. Strong understanding of security fundamentals and ability to incorporate security into production systems. Experience designing reusable APIs, libraries, or developer tooling.
