The Cantonment Board of Barrackpore, a civic authority that manages public services for the Barrackpore cantonment area in West Bengal, is hiring two full‑time health professionals – a physiotherapist and a radiologist. The physiotherapist will work in the board’s health facility, assessing patients with musculoskeletal, neurological or post‑operative conditions, designing and supervising rehabilitation programmes, delivering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and modalities, and maintaining accurate treatment records. The radiologist will operate imaging equipment such as X‑ray, ultrasound or CT scanners, acquire diagnostic images, interpret findings, prepare reports for referring physicians, and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards. Both roles involve regular interaction with doctors, nurses and patients, as well as documentation and adherence to public‑health protocols. Ideal candidates are qualified and licensed professionals – a BPT/DPT or equivalent for physiotherapy and an MD/Diploma in Radiology for imaging – with prior clinical experience, good communication skills and the ability to function in a government‑run healthcare setting.
