The Digital Marketing Technology team builds the public web experience that introduces users to Salesforce’s products. As a Senior Member of Technical Staff in Performance Engineering, you will design and maintain a performance testing framework, create automated load‑testing scripts, and develop self‑service tools that improve scalability and response time for web applications. Daily work includes writing performance tests with tools such as JMeter, Gatling or Puppeteer, integrating them into CI pipelines, analysing results with monitoring solutions like New Relic or Dynatrace, and collaborating with developers to optimise code, database queries and cloud deployments on AWS. The role also involves evaluating emerging technologies, building proof‑of‑concepts and championing best practices across the team. It is suited to engineers with six or more years of software development experience, strong knowledge of performance testing, proficiency in a programming language such as Java, Python or Go, and familiarity with cloud environments and version‑control systems.
