Engineering Manager

Solarsquare Energy is a company focused on building the infrastructure needed for India’s clean‑energy transition. The Engineering Manager role is centred on the backend of Solarsquare’s full‑stack platform. The manager will define technical strategy, oversee delivery, and grow a team of software engineers ranging from junior to senior levels. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include making architectural decisions, guiding the use of MongoDB, PostgreSQL and AWS services, coordinating with product, design and business stakeholders, and ensuring that engineering outcomes align with business goals. The position calls for 8‑13 years of experience, a track record of leading teams in resource‑constrained settings, and a history of shipping reliable systems under pressure. Candidates should be comfortable managing full‑stack development, mentoring engineers, and translating product requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role is flexible/hybrid and suitable for engineers who want to combine hands‑on technical work with people‑management in a fast‑growing clean‑energy environment.
