Intel, a global leader in semiconductor design and manufacturing, is hiring a PDK Engineer focused on Extraction Development at its Bangalore campus. The role centers on creating and refining process design kit (PDK) extraction models that translate silicon process parameters into accurate design rules for circuit designers. Daily tasks are expected to include collaborating with process and device engineers to gather measurement data, using TCAD and other simulation tools to develop extraction algorithms, validating models against silicon test structures, and documenting the methodology for internal teams. The engineer will also work on automating parts of the workflow with scripting languages and may support cross‑functional teams in integrating the PDK into Intel’s design flow. Candidates should have a strong foundation in semiconductor physics, VLSI or device modeling, and experience with extraction or TCAD tools. Proficiency in scripting (Python, Tcl, or similar), data analysis, and clear technical communication are important, as is the ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
