About the Role Figma is growing its team of creatives and builders to make design accessible to all. The product designer will shape how design, code, and AI-powered workflows come together, improving production code understanding, design systems, and extending agentic capabilities into developer tools. Responsibilities Shape and prototype new workflows that bring design and production code closer together, including AI-powered experiences. Contribute to product strategy and decision‑making. Deliver clear storytelling around product needs. Work cross‑functionally with product management, engineering, UX writing, data science, and research. Create and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high‑fidelity visuals, and provide feedback. Design and ship high‑quality features in Figma’s core product surfaces. Participate in design critiques, mentor peers, and share best practices. Requirements 3+ years of experience designing UX and UI for complex software products. Strong visual craft, typography, layout, interaction design, and prototyping. Ability to drive end‑to‑end design processes from discovery to launch. Experience with technically complex products, preferably developer tools, APIs, and software development workflows. Familiarity with web technologies (HTML/CSS), AI coding tools (Codex, Cursor, Claude), advanced Figma features (Auto Layout, Variables, Components).
