Salesforce, a global leader in cloud‑based customer relationship management and AI‑driven solutions, is hiring a Senior Accountant for its Compensation & Benefits function in Hyderabad. The role centers on owning the month‑end close for global compensation and benefits accounting, which includes preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis in the general ledger. The incumbent will maintain SOX documentation, support internal and external auditors, and conduct balance‑sheet and P&L flux analyses for executive reporting. Acting as a subject‑matter expert, the accountant will liaise with regional and cross‑functional finance teams to ensure consistent accounting practices, resolve special requests, and drive process improvements and automation. The position also involves leading ad‑hoc projects and documenting procedures. Ideal candidates have a master’s degree in accounting or finance, at least seven years of GL accounting experience, strong knowledge of US GAAP, and proven SOX control execution. Certifications such as CA or CPA are preferred, and familiarity with ERP systems, Workday Financials, BlackLine and Tableau is highly desirable.
