Partner with Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting, Corporate Development, and Valuation Committee. Based in Menlo Park, New York, Chicago with in-person attendance at least 3 days per week. Responsibilities Financial Modeling & Valuation Analysis: Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, OPM/PWERM, Monte Carlo simulations). Perform quarterly and event-driven valuations, waterfall/allocation analyses. Develop valuation methodologies per AICPA guidelines. Governance & Reporting: Prepare valuation memos, support documentation, partner with TAFR for financial statements and SEC disclosures, serve as point of contact for external auditors. Cross‑Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Corporate Development, Legal, Investor Relations on investment structuring and exit events. Advise on accounting and valuation implications. Process & Controls: Maintain and enhance SOX controls over valuation process, improve templates and data inputs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. 10+ years experience in valuation, financial modeling, investment banking, private equity or venture capital. Expertise in building and auditing complex models. Strong knowledge of US GAAP fair value measurement (ASC 820). Excellent communication. Advanced Excel proficiency; valuation software a plus.
