Senior Software Engineer - Account Infrastructure

Roblox operates a platform where millions of users create, share, and play user‑generated 3D experiences, providing the tools and infrastructure that let developers bring interactive worlds to life. The Senior Software Engineer on the Account Infrastructure team works on the authentication and authorization systems that protect user accounts and enable secure access at massive scale. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include designing and implementing full‑stack features for account security, from technical specification through implementation, rollout, monitoring, and iteration; collaborating with Application Security, Core Services, and the broader Safety organization to define architectural direction; maintaining and improving authentication services; driving cross‑functional initiatives to adopt safety‑related products; and ensuring the platform can handle growth toward a billion active users. The role suits engineers with five or more years of software development experience, strong skills in building scalable backend services, familiarity with authentication protocols, and a track record of delivering reliable, secure features in a collaborative environment.
