Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join the Featured Merchant Algorithm team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on high-impact, high-visibility software development tasks related to the core e-commerce platform. As an SDE II, the day-to-day responsibilities involve designing and architecting scalable systems, implementing reliable code, and managing the full software development life cycle. You will be expected to contribute to coding standards, conduct code reviews, and oversee build processes and testing operations. The position requires a strong background in software design patterns and a proven ability to maintain and scale existing systems. This role is well-suited for experienced engineers who possess at least three years of professional development experience and at least two years of specific experience in system design and architecture. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a solid grasp of programming fundamentals to drive improvements in the merchant algorithm space.
