Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Last Mile delivery division in Bengaluru. This role focuses on the technical development and advancement of UTR (Under the Roof) automation systems, which are critical to the company's logistics and fulfillment infrastructure. As a senior-level contributor, you will be responsible for designing and architecting scalable, reliable systems that support complex delivery operations. Daily responsibilities include writing high-quality code, conducting rigorous code reviews, managing the full software development life cycle, and overseeing build and testing processes. Beyond individual technical contributions, this position requires strong leadership skills, as you will be expected to mentor junior engineers, guide technical strategy, and lead architectural decisions for new and existing systems. This role is well-suited for an experienced software professional with over five years of industry experience who possesses a deep understanding of design patterns and system reliability. Candidates should be comfortable navigating large-scale distributed systems and have a proven track record of leading engineering teams through complex technical challenges.
