Amazon Shipping leverages many of the above foundational systems together with operations • 10+ years of professional software development experience • 8+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++ • 8+ years contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field • 2+ years hands-on experience as a senior Principal Engineer leading multiple software engineering • Experience shipping successful large-scale supply chain projects • Experience partnering with Research Science or Machine Learning experts to drive optimizations using the latest techniques.
