Our Risk & Compliance practice are looking for experienced Economic Crime Consultants / Senior Consultants to join the team. Baringa is committed to reducing financial crime and the negative consequences it has on society. Our business seeks to bring insight and perspective and have lasting impact for our clients, the environment, and on the communities where we live and work. We help our clients to better understand how Economic Crime can be carried out through their organisations and to put in place targeted controls, enabling them to manage this risk efficiently. What you will be doing Assessing and benchmarking the effectiveness of firms’ Economic Crime regulation, legislation, and industry best practices Implementing and/or optimising Economic Crime technology solutions such as client lifecycle management and KYC capture, transaction monitoring, customer screening and payment screening Supporting data quality assessments, data transformation/data integration (ETL) and data visualisation. Demonstratable knowledge of vendor products commonly used to combat Economic Crime Conducting risk asses
