As part of the United Media group, the company specializes in large-scale industry events and networking initiatives. In this full-time role based in London, an MBA graduate will take on a leadership position to manage and scale the business operations. Daily responsibilities include building and mentoring a high-performing team, executing company strategy, and overseeing the end-to-end planning and delivery of international conferences. The role requires a candidate who can manage project timelines and budgets while identifying new business development opportunities. This position is well-suited for an ambitious professional with at least four years of experience in fast-paced environments such as management consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups. The ideal candidate possesses strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive rapid organizational growth. You will be expected to lead strategic initiatives, provide detailed performance feedback, and travel to support the company’s global conference operations.

SetSales is part of United Media which focuses on building large scale industry media and conferences products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, etc. As of today, we have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one. The Opportunity. As a MBA Graduate, you will run, grow and manage all aspects of SetSales. You will be responsible for building and leading a world-class team, ensuring the successful execution of the conference and strategy of the brand. You are someone who is thrilled to work in a fast-paced environment and wants to scale the company rapidly. Responsibilities : Recruit, build and develop a high-performing team. Build an ecosystem and deliver outstanding products. Set clear expectations, establish goals, and provide ongoing detailed feedback and performance evaluations. Execute the strategy at a rapid pace. Develop the company’s brand as the go-to place for inspiration, knowledge and networking. Oversee planning, execution, and completion of conferences within the designated timelines and budget constraints. Assign tasks to team members in each department, monitor progress, and ensure project objectives are achieved. Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients and collaborate with business development teams for new client acquisition. Bachelor’s degree with outstanding results, maybe followed by an MBA Strong commercial awareness and a passion for business. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
