Senior Dynatrace Engineer

The posting is for a senior engineering position with a multinational client that operates remotely. The role focuses on designing, deploying, configuring, upgrading and administering large‑scale Dynatrace monitoring environments. Daily tasks include installing and managing Dynatrace OneAgent and ActiveGate components, setting up extensions and monitoring configurations for applications, APIs, micro‑services, databases, containers, Kubernetes clusters and cloud platforms. The engineer will define service detection rules, process groups, management zones, tags, naming conventions, metrics, logs, traces and topology maps, as well as build operational and executive dashboards, notebooks, reports, service‑level objectives and alerting strategies. Additional responsibilities involve tuning Davis AI for problem detection, anomaly detection, baselines and root‑cause analysis, and implementing Real User Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring and Session Replay. The position suits candidates with five to nine years of experience in observability, performance monitoring and cloud infrastructure, who have deep hands‑on expertise with Dynatrace, ServiceNow, JIRA and related tooling, and who can work independently in a remote setting.
