About the Role Senior Manager, Technical Program Management leads a team of TPMs in GitLab Engineering, building out a new PMO function. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers. Handle staffing requirements in partnership with leadership. Align TPM team resourcing with business objectives. Create and maintain program management standards and processes. Develop long‑term strategy and vision for the Program Management function. Build relationships with cross‑functional stakeholders. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and remove obstacles. Establish and track KPIs for programs and team members. Lead strategic planning influencing staffing, timelines, and stakeholders. Embody GitLab values. Requirements Prior experience as a people manager and as an individual contributor TPM. Experience in program/project management and stakeholder management. Strong leadership and communication skills.
