As a Staff Enterprise Architect intern, you will work with the Director of Enterprise Architecture and AI Intelligent Automation to design and evolve GitLab’s internal systems across the business, application, data, and technology lenses, treating AI as a constant consideration. Day‑to‑day tasks include mapping current‑state processes and capabilities, identifying friction points and manual handoffs that could be eliminated by AI agents, and collaborating with product owners to redesign workflows before automation. You will also partner with Applications engineering teams to create high‑level designs and patterns for core platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, and Zendesk, favoring configuration and native AI features over custom work. The role suits candidates with experience in enterprise architecture, familiarity with enterprise SaaS applications, strong process‑analysis skills, and the ability to influence through technical leadership without managing people.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Eligibility Internship position, remote work location, open to candidates with 0‑1 years of experience.
