Responsibilities Architect, design, and evolve backend systems, platform services, and APIs using Python and related technologies. Build secure, resilient data storage and retrieval systems. Work across full product lifecycle from concept to production ownership. Lead cross-team technical initiatives and raise engineering standards. Produce maintainable, well‑tested, observable code. Mentor engineers and share expertise in backend architecture and distributed systems. Stay current with industry trends and improve backend platform. Requirements BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. 7+ years software engineering experience, deep expertise in backend engineering and distributed systems. Strong foundation in software design, multiple languages (Python, Java, Go), modern frameworks, system design, architectural patterns. Experience building reliable distributed, data‑intensive services with scalability, fault tolerance, observability, performance optimization.
