Decathlontechnology’s Instore team builds mobile applications that help store employees manage shelf layout, customer interactions and order processing. Its flagship Cube In Store app is used by more than sixty thousand teammates across over sixty countries to streamline daily retail operations. As the Tech Lead Android, you will guide a small group of developers and QA engineers, defining the app’s architecture and overseeing both feature development and bug‑fix work. You will work closely with the product manager to turn functional specifications into technical plans, provide effort estimates and commit to delivery schedules. The role includes creating regression test scenarios, verifying security, performance and volume impacts, and ensuring stable production releases, including pilot phases. You will also promote the use of AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve code quality and team productivity, and participate in a cross‑team Tech Lead forum for technology watch and experimentation. The position requires strong Kotlin and Android framework expertise, proven experience with MVVM, MVI, modular design, design patterns and algorithmic problem solving, plus hands‑on exposure to AI‑augmented development workflows.
🇫🇷 Offre en Français Notre équipe Instore recherche un·e Tech Lead Android (f/m/d) — Software Engineer IC3 en CDI basé·e à Villeneuve-d'Ascq. L'équipe Instore développe des applications mobiles innovantes pour nos coéquipiers vendeurs en magasin. L'application Cube In Store permet à plus de 60 000 collaborateurs répartis dans plus de 60 pays de gérer leur linéaire, la relation client et la prise de commande en un minimum de temps. Ta mission : intégrer les nouvelles solutions pour gérer et préparer le business magasin de demain au sein d'une équipe passionnée et agile. TA FUTURE CONTRIBUTION En tant que Tech Lead Android (f/m/d) , tu seras le moteur technique de la feature team et le lien direct entre le produit et la technique : Leadership & Animation : Guider et faire grandir l'équipe technique (développeurs et QA) au quotidien. Architecture & Développements : Concevoir l'architecture, prendre en charge les développements évolutifs et correctifs de l'application Android et garantir la qualité, la stabilité et la performance des livrables. Binôme Product Manager : Collaborer avec le PM sur l'élaboration des spécifications fonctionnelles (force de proposition), établir les chiffrages et t'y engager. Qualité & Déploiement : Créer les scénarios de tests de non-régression, vérifier les impacts (sécurité, flux, volumétrie, performance) et piloter le bon fonctionnement en production (phase pilote). IA & Pratiques Tech Innovantes : Accompagner et promouvoir l'utilisation de l'Intelligence Artificielle au quotidien (notamment GitHub Copilot avec différents modèles) pour booster la productivité, la qualité du code et l'innovation au sein de l'équipe. Amélioration continue & Collectif : Rejoindre le groupe de Tech Leads pour animer les sujets cross-équipes, effectuer une veille technologique constante, challenger l'existant et expérimenter des solutions innovantes. CE QUE TU APPORTES Expertise Android : Solide maîtrise du framework Android et du langage Kotlin . Activité publique (GitHub) ou expérience professionnelle probante. Architecture & Standards : Maîtrise des architectures MVVM, MVI , de l'approche modulaire, des Design Patterns, de la POO/programmation fonctionnelle et de l'algorithmique. IA & Développement augmenté : Appétence et expérience pratique dans l'utilisation d'outils d'assistance par IA (comme GitHub Copilot et ses différents modèles) pour le développement et la revue de code.
