As an Applied AI Architect intern within the public sector division, you will serve as a technical advisor to systems integrators, startups, and GovTech organizations. The role involves guiding customers through the integration of Claude into their existing technology stacks, translating complex business requirements into scalable AI architectures, and assisting with the development of evaluation frameworks. You will act as a bridge between internal product and engineering teams and external stakeholders, delivering technical deep dives and strategic guidance to ensure successful deployments. Prior experience in government contracting or the possession of a US Secret Clearance is preferred for this role.

5-5 years experienceAbout the Role As an Applied AI team member at Anthropic, you will act as a Pre‑Sales architect, advising systems integrators, startups, and GovTech companies on integrating and deploying Claude into their technology stacks. Responsibilities Partner with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions. Serve as primary technical advisor throughout Claude adoption, from discovery to deployment. Support customers building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise. Create and deliver technical content for engineering teams and executive audiences. Guide architecture decisions and help integrate Claude into existing stacks. Help customers develop evaluation frameworks for Claude performance. Identify integration patterns and feed insights back to Product and Engineering. Travel frequently to customer sites for workshops and deep‑dives. Requirements 5+ years experience in technical customer‑facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager. Experience navigating complex buying cycles with multiple stakeholders. Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences, including C‑suite. Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems. Familiarity with Python and common LLM frameworks or background in machine learning/data science. US Secret Clearance preferred.
