The Associate – User Growth (Market Intelligence) role is based in Noida and focuses on expanding Paytm’s user base through on‑ground activities. Day‑to‑day work involves visiting markets, shops, restaurants, cafés, retail outlets and other high‑footfall locations to spot growth opportunities, building and managing partnerships with regional brands, businesses, institutions and communities, and engaging with merchants and customers to understand local needs. The associate supports the execution of merchant programmes, college activities, community initiatives and local campaigns, tracks visits and partnerships, and feeds insights back to internal teams to move opportunities from initiation to closure. The position suits energetic, self‑driven candidates with good knowledge of the local market, strong communication and relationship‑building skills, comfort with extensive field work, ability to independently identify and follow up on opportunities, and preferably experience in field sales, business development, partnerships, merchant acquisition or market development.

About the Role We are looking for energetic and self-driven professionals to join our Offline User Growth Team. The role involves identifying growth opportunities across the city, building relationships with merchants, businesses, institutions and communities, and driving on‑ground user acquisition initiatives. Responsibilities Visit markets, shops, restaurants, cafés, retail outlets and other high‑footfall locations to identify growth opportunities. Build and manage partnerships with regional/local brands and businesses. Identify and develop corporate, college, institutional and community partnerships. Engage with merchants, customers and local communities to understand market needs and provide relevant feedback. Identify new opportunities for user acquisition, brand visibility and local marketing initiatives. Support execution of merchant programmes, college activities, community initiatives and other local campaigns. Work closely with internal teams to take identified opportunities from initiation to closure. Maintain regular tracking of visits, opportunities, partnerships and execution. Requirements Good knowledge of the local market/city. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. Comfortable with extensive field work and meeting different stakeholders. Ability to independently identify opportunities and follow up consistently. Good command of the local language. Experience in field sales, business development, partnerships, merchant acquisition, market development or similar roles would be relevant.
