About the Role As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Cloudflare you will serve as a senior technical expert and advisor for strategic enterprise customers, architecting solutions, optimizing performance and driving business success with Cloudflare’s platform. Responsibilities Serve as trusted advisor to key enterprise customers; lead architectural discussions, design sessions and solution reviews; diagnose complex technical issues; manage configurations using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform); partner with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product and Engineering; advise on security, network optimization, scalability and performance tuning; stay current with industry trends and Cloudflare solutions. Requirements In‑depth experience in a technical customer‑facing role such as Solutions Architect or Technical Account Manager; extensive knowledge of Cloudflare Application and Security portfolio (DNS, WAF, DDoS, Bot Management, CDN); hands‑on experience securing web applications, APIs and services; proficiency with Terraform and Cloudflare Workers/Workers AI.
