The Global PubSec Transaction Attorney internship focuses on supporting the company’s public‑sector commercial deals across U.S. federal, state and local markets, as well as selected APAC and EMEA opportunities. Day‑to‑day work involves advising on and negotiating government contracts, drafting and reviewing master service agreements, order forms, amendments, data‑processing agreements, security exhibits and related documents. The role requires identifying and resolving commercial, legal, privacy, data‑protection, security and compliance issues in a practical, business‑oriented manner, while partnering with sales, finance, product, privacy and other teams to improve contracting processes, playbooks and templates. Interns will also help evaluate RFPs, RFIs and security questionnaires, escalate risks, and translate negotiated terms into clear post‑award handoff instructions. Candidates should hold a JD from an accredited law school, have active bar membership in at least one jurisdiction, and bring five or more years of legal experience with substantial exposure to public‑sector technology transactions, including U.S. federal and state/local government contracts.

About the Role Global PubSec Transaction Attorney role supporting public sector commercial transactions across US federal, state, local, and select APAC/EMEA opportunities. Partner with Sales, Finance, Deal Desk, Security, Privacy, Product, and legal stakeholders. Responsibilities Advise on and negotiate public sector commercial agreements including contracts, MSAs, order forms, amendments, DPAs, security exhibits, procurement terms. Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents. Identify and resolve commercial, legal, privacy, data protection, security, and compliance issues. Create and improve contracting processes, playbooks, templates. Evaluate RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires. Escalate issues and provide risk-based recommendations. Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders. Translate negotiated terms into post‑award handoff with obligations, owners, due dates, evidence, and escalation paths. Requirements JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one jurisdiction. Minimum 5 years legal experience with substantial public sector transaction work. Strong experience negotiating US federal and/or state and local government contracts. Working knowledge of APAC and EMEA legal regimes preferred. Eligibility JD degree required; active bar membership.
