Responsibilities Performs complex accounting activities (sub-ledger accounting, high level financial statements) in accordance with accounting principles and standards. Analyzes and exercises judgment on financial performance and complex issues. Determines complexity of issues, escalates and makes recommendations to leadership. Assists with implementation of process improvements. Supports SOX compliance and control improvements. Supports business partner relationship and client-service mentality. Supports relationship with external and internal auditors. Researches, interprets and applies accounting guidance (GAAP). Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred. Qualified Accountant (ACA, AMCA, ACCA). Experience managing components of larger projects. Experience creating and delivering presentations. Experience working with colleagues from other business units and markets. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and reporting requirements. Experience reviewing and analyzing work for appropriate accounting treatment. Experience implementing process improvements. Experience performing issue resolution and complex issues. Experience executing controls and assessing effectiveness. Proactively builds relationships with business partners. Advanced MS Excel skills essential. Eligibility Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification).
