The Senior Product Manager for Cloudflare Workers will focus on the developer experience of building on Workers, particularly the Wrangler CLI and surrounding tooling ecosystem. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include talking with developers and customers, shaping strategy and roadmap for Wrangler, leading initiatives from ideation to launch, gathering feedback from developer communities, and collaborating with engineering, framework authors, open‑source maintainers, and cross‑functional teams such as Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Sales, and Support. The role also involves representing Cloudflare at conferences and community events to build trust and credibility. Ideal candidates have proven experience as a product manager, engineering manager, or founder, with a track record of shipping impactful products. They possess deep empathy for developers, hands‑on coding ability, fluency with AI‑assisted learning, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for design details and polish. The position is hybrid, with offices in Austin or London.

Available Locations: Austin or London About the Role Cloudflare Workers, launched in 2017, has evolved from a simple functions-as-a-service offering into a powerful full-stack development platform. Workers empowers developers to build sophisticated applications, leveraging numerous frameworks, tools, and integrations. Wrangler, the CLI for Cloudflare’s developer platform, plays a critical role in this, as do the surrounding tools that developers use including AI coding agents, IDEs and framework integrations. Your mission in this role is to ensure that the “hands-on-keyboard” experience of building Workers is seamless, intuitive, and delightful — getting down to the fine-grained details that matter to developers. What You’ll Do Talk directly with developers and customers big and small, every day. Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Wrangler CLI , and the broader developer tooling ecosystem around Cloudflare Workers. Lead initiatives from ideation through launch, ensuring ongoing enhancements based on developer feedback. Engage closely with developer communities to understand their workflows, challenges, and tooling needs. Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, external framework authors, and open-source maintainers to maximize compatibility and ease-of-use with Workers. Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Sales, and Customer Support teams. Represent Cloudflare externally at conferences, community events, customer meetings, and developer-focused initiatives. Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Proven experience as an EM, PM or founder. You’ve led teams to ship before and can point to impact. Deep empathy for developers and understanding of their workflows, pain points, and how they adopt new tools and platforms. You understand what it’s like to write code that relies on services, tools and systems built by others. Hands-on ability to write code and use AI and the Internet to learn new things fast. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, adept at working across diverse teams to align on goals and drive execution. You can translate between engineering domains. Passion for design details and polish. You raise the bar for sweating the details. External presentation skills. You can walk into a room of developers and build trust and credibility.
