Amazon Customer Service handles hundreds of millions of customer contacts each year across every Amazon business. Our Associate Experience organization owns the products, platforms, and AI systems that - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design - Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution - Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience in developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU or other AI acceleration hardware Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
