8-8 years experienceAbout the Role Owns full-stack features independently from design through implementation, testing, and production monitoring. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain features for the HRX Engineering product surface. Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code across the stack. Participate in code review, sprint planning, retrospectives, and on-call rotation. Partner with product and design to translate requirements into technical solutions. Monitor and improve reliability, performance, and quality of shipped features. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-tenured engineers. Requirements 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full-stack work. Proficiency in at least one modern backend language/framework (Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Python/Django) and one modern frontend framework (React, TypeScript). Strong understanding of relational databases, schema design, migrations, and query performance. Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, data structures, algorithms. Ability to own projects end-to-end: scoping, design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Nice to have Experience in HR tech, payroll, or fintech domains. Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs. Exposure to accessibility best practices.
