As a Staff Software Engineer in this team, you will lead the design, evolution, and operational excellence of the global network, owning decisions on capacity-planning methodologies, hardware evolution strategies, and architectural standards that guide infrastructure groups across the company. You will work with engineers and architects to shape network architecture, long-term roadmaps, and traffic-engineering solutions such as automated BGP policy and software-defined forwarding, ensuring the network meets ambitious scale and operational goals. The role suits engineers with deep expertise in modern routing protocols (BGP, ISIS, RSVP-TE), hyperscale network design, automation of traffic engineering, and a track record of turning greenfield problems into repeatable systems while leading teams through major architectural shifts.
