As a Group Product Manager for the FinHub team, you will oversee the critical infrastructure responsible for the movement of fiat and digital assets across the company. This role involves defining the multi-year vision for money movement reliability, establishing service levels for various payment rails, and building robust controls to ensure compliance and financial integrity. You will be responsible for designing systems that trace funds across blockchain networks and ledgers, while leveraging AI agents to automate detection and remediation of failures. The position requires deep technical expertise in distributed systems, double-entry ledgering, and payment infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional partners in risk, finance, and compliance to enforce standards and hold teams accountable for the safety and accuracy of fund flows. This role is well-suited for a seasoned product leader with over a decade of experience in financial platforms who is comfortable navigating highly regulated environments and driving complex, large-scale technical strategies.

Every dollar and token that enters, leaves, or moves within the company runs through this platform - fiat across ACH, wires, cards, RTP, and SEPA, crypto across dozens of blockchain networks, and internal movement across ledgers, legal entities, and customer accounts. As a Group Product Manager on the FinHub team within Platform , you'll own the systems that ensure every fund flow reaches a correct terminal state - the controls that stop unsafe movement, the detection that catches what slips through, and the remediation that recovers it. You'll set the reliability standard for money movement at Coinbase and lead through influence to hold the company to it. What you’ll do: Own the multi-year vision and strategy for money movement reliability and controls across fiat and crypto, defining per-rail service levels and resolution targets for every fund flow. Build the controls infrastructure governing money movement - determining which risk, compliance, and financial controls apply to each flow, verifying they ran, and confirming they passed before funds move. Drive real-time detection and end-to-end tracing across payment rails, blockchain networks, controls, and the ledger to identify and resolve failures fast. Scale correctness through AI agents that propose controls from product specs, triage alerts before an engineer opens them, and remediate within governed limits. Partner with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and every product group that moves money to establish control ownership and hold teams accountable for their fund flows. Required Skills and Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, with deep expertise in money movement, payments infrastructure, ledgering, or financial platforms at scale. Track record owning strategy for large-scale money movement or financial systems - payment processing, transfers, ledgers, reconciliation, or the reliability layers around them. Deep technical fluency in distributed systems, event streaming, idempotency, double-entry ledgering, reconciliation, and the design of preventive and detective controls. Demonstrated ability to set standards that other teams must meet and make them stick across organizational boundaries in a highly regulated environment. Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
