Coopers Group AG is seeking an experienced H3C Expert to join a complex infrastructure transformation project based in Basel. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation of a new infrastructure environment, replacing legacy server, storage, and virtualization systems with modern H3C solutions. Your daily responsibilities will include planning and executing migration projects, configuring H3C UniServer, UniStor, and CAS environments, and transitioning virtual machines and data from existing platforms like VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V. You will also focus on building high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, while integrating backup, monitoring, and SAN components. The position requires a candidate with a strong background as an infrastructure architect or systems engineer who possesses deep technical expertise in H3C products. You will act as a technical advisor to project stakeholders, ensuring that the new architecture is well-documented and optimized for performance. This role is well-suited for a professional with proven experience in large-scale IT landscape transformations and a solid understanding of storage protocols and networking integration.
................ Für ein anspruchsvolles Infrastruktur-Transformationsprojekt in Basel suchen wir eine:n erfahrene: H3C Expert . Im Rahmen des Projekts wird eine bestehende Server-, Storage- und Virtualisierungslandschaft durch moderne H3C-Lösungen ersetzt. Du übernimmst eine zentrale Rolle bei der Planung, Architektur und Umsetzung der neuen Infrastruktur und begleiten die Migration bestehender Systeme in die neue Zielumgebung. Deine Aufgaben: Konzeption und Design der zukünftigen H3C-Infrastruktur Planung und Durchführung von Migrationsprojekten im Bereich Compute, Storage und Virtualisierung Implementierung und Konfiguration von H3C UniServer-, UniStor- und CAS-Umgebungen Migration von virtuellen Maschinen und Daten aus bestehenden Plattformen (z. B. VMware vSphere oder Microsoft Hyper-V) Aufbau und Optimierung von Hochverfügbarkeits- und Disaster-Recovery-Lösungen Integration von Backup-, Monitoring-, Active-Directory-, Netzwerk- und SAN-Lösungen Unterstützung bei Sizing, Performance-Optimierung und Kapazitätsplanung Technische Beratung von Projektleitung und Stakeholdern Dokumentation der Architektur und Betriebsprozesse Dein Profil: Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Infrastructure Architect, Systems Engineer oder Datacenter Consultant Nachweisbare Praxiserfahrung mit mindestens einem der folgenden H3C-Produkten: H3C UniServer, H3C UniStor, H3C CAS, H3C UIS, H3C CloudOS Erfahrung in Infrastruktur-Migrationsprojekten und der Transformation bestehender IT-Landschaften Fundierte Kenntnisse in Server-, Storage- und Virtualisierungsumgebungen Erfahrung mit VMware vSphere, Hyper-V oder vergleichbaren Plattformen Gute Kenntnisse von Storage-Protokollen wie FC, iSCSI und NFS Erfahrung mit Clustering-, High-Availability- und Disaster-Recovery-Konzepten Kenntnisse in der Integration von Netzwerk-, SAN-, Backup- und Monitoring-Lösungen H3C-Zertifizierungen sind von Vorteil Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse sowie gute Englischkenntnisse Find Jobs in Switzerland on Arbeitnow
