Risk & Monitoring Analyst III

Coinbase is a leading cryptocurrency exchange and financial services platform that aims to increase economic freedom through digital assets. The Risk & Monitoring Analyst III role sits on the Operational Risk and Controls team within Global Financial Crimes Operations. The analyst will conduct weekly quality‑assurance audits of complaints investigations, including formal, legal and litigation cases, documenting errors and root causes. Responsibilities include performing deep‑dive root‑cause analyses, identifying procedural gaps, and collaborating with client experience, compliance, analytics and learning teams to implement workflow improvements and refine QA frameworks. The analyst will also build and present dashboards, trend reports and performance metrics using spreadsheet and presentation tools to senior leadership, using data‑driven insights to boost case consistency, quality and throughput. The position suits candidates with four or more years of hands‑on experience in complaints support, quality assurance or compliance testing within financial services, who have demonstrated ability to translate QA findings into actionable process changes and can work effectively with cross‑functional, global teams.
