For these users, a dropped call or a crash isn't a UX inconvenience. It's a broken connection to someone who matters. The craft challenge here is real. Our users are often on older devices, limited data plans, and unreliable networks. Building an app that performs beautifully under those conditions requires engineering excellence, not shortcuts. We're entering a new phase of growth. Talk360 is profitable, our B2B2C platform is expanding, and mobile remains one of the most important products in the company. We’re looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our mobile team. You’ll be a core contributor to app millions rely on , building features end-to-end, raising the bar on quality and performance, and working directly with Product and the business to understand our customers. You’ll work in a team where your impact is visible from day one, and where engineers who can reach across platforms are especially valued. What You'll Do Build and improve the Android app Build features that keep people connected: reliable calling on older devices and unstable networks Ship features and experiments on the journeys that matter most to our users, from onboarding to buying credit Help evolve our embedded calling SDK, used by partners to bring Talk360 calling into their own apps Shape our design system and help modernize the app as we move to a shared Kotlin Multiplatform codebase Own platform quality: releases, rollouts and app health Work across the mobile stack Contribute to our Kotlin Multiplatform shared core, which powers Android, iOS, and our partner SDK Pick up iOS work where it makes sense (a strong plus, not a requirement) Work closely with the Mobile Lead on architecture and technical direction Learn from customers Use crash reports, Android vitals, and Play Store reviews to find and fix what hurts users most Work with Product before implementation to shape solutions, not just execute them Use AI tooling throughout your workflow to raise quality and speed; we’re building an AI-first engineering culture The Team You’ll be working alongside Igor (iOS and Mobile Lead), David (Android), Isah (Android and Frontend), and Tom (Tech Lead). The wider tech team you’ll collaborate with includes Michal & Feyi (QA), Alex (Backend), Oleg (Full Stack), and Yahaya (VoIP). On the product side, you’ll work closely with Quintin, Kseniia, and Cameron. Talk360 is a lean company, around 30 people globally, which means you’ll interact regularly across functions: ops, support, data, and marketing. That cross-functional visibility is one of the things that makes the work here interesting and your impact visible. Tech Stack Must have Kotlin Jetpack Compose (plus familiarity with XML) Android Studio Git Experience owning production Android applications Experience with CI setup and maintenance Experience implementing automated tests Actively using AI throughout your development workflow Interest / understanding / experience in cross-platform development Nice to have iOS / Swift experience Kotlin Multiplatform VoIP or real-time communication Analytics and observability tooling (Mixpanel, Crashlytics or similar) Who You Are You naturally take ownership without waiting for permission.
