As a Senior Developer Advocate, you will deepen your expertise in GitLab’s platform, focusing on the Duo Agent Platform and newer AI‑enabled capabilities, and translate that knowledge into technical content such as blog posts, videos, presentations, and social clips. Day‑to‑day activities include scripting, recording, and editing product demos, delivering live demos at events and analyst briefings, engaging with customers through webinars and meetings, and participating in the developer community on forums, Discord, and social platforms. You will also feed insights from customers and the community back to product, support, and sales teams, contribute to technical research on the developer tools landscape, and travel up to 20 % for events. The role suits candidates with hands‑on software engineering experience, familiarity with AI‑assisted development and agentic systems, strong communication and presentation skills, and fluency in developer‑focused social channels.
