Mercury is a fintech company that is building a complete finance stack for startups, aiming to provide entrepreneurs with a simple and secure banking experience. The Senior Procurement Business Partner will own the full procure‑to‑pay lifecycle, from intake and request through contract signature, supplier onboarding, and ongoing vendor management. Day‑to‑day work includes negotiating contracts, designing and refining procurement processes and controls, operating and administering P2P tools such as Zip, Coupa, or Ariba, maintaining accurate vendor data, and serving as the main point of contact for Finance, Legal, Security, and Compliance teams on procurement matters. This position suits candidates with five to eight years of procurement, sourcing, or P2P experience, hands‑on expertise with procurement systems, a proven ability to lead negotiations and improve processes, and comfort working cross‑functionally with finance, legal, and security stakeholders while using data to drive decisions.
