Senior Security Engineer - Enterprise Security

Samsara is a provider of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform that aggregates IoT data from physical‑world industries such as agriculture, construction, transportation and manufacturing to deliver actionable insights that improve safety, efficiency and sustainability. The Senior Security Engineer – Enterprise Security role focuses on maintaining and evolving Samsara’s enterprise‑scale security environment. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include co‑owning endpoint security operations, triaging and resolving alerts, tuning zero‑trust policies, and improving visibility tools and runbooks in partnership with the Security Operations team. The engineer collaborates with engineering, IT and security groups to ensure proper deployment of security controls, assists in vulnerability remediation, mentors junior security staff, and contributes to documentation and knowledge‑sharing initiatives. The position is remote for candidates based in the United Kingdom and requires a strong automation mindset, experience with Python, SOAR platforms or AI‑assisted tools, and a background in enterprise security operations. It suits security professionals with several years of hands‑on experience who enjoy both operational tasks and collaborative improvement of security programs.
