The Senior Strategic Finance Analyst will sit in the Strategic Finance team, reporting to the Senior Director, and help shape the company’s long‑term roadmap and resource allocation. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include building and maintaining short‑term and long‑term forecasting models, supporting the annual operating plan, and translating operational goals into financial outcomes. The role works closely with go‑to‑market and other cross‑functional teams to gather insights, influence capital‑allocation decisions, and produce regular performance reports, ad‑hoc analysis, and ROI‑based budgeting. The analyst will also execute core financial processes such as reporting, budgeting, benchmarking, and will leverage advanced Excel modeling and AI‑assisted analytical tools while exercising judgment on when manual insight is required. The position suits candidates with prior experience in investment banking, management consulting, or strategic finance/FP&A, a data‑driven mindset, strong communication skills, and a proven record of high performance in demanding teams.

About the Role We are currently seeking an exceptional Senior Strategic Finance Analyst to join our Strategic Finance team. You can be based in either our Barcelona or London office. The Strategic Finance department is responsible for crafting our long-term strategic roadmap and optimizing how we allocate resources to fuel our growth and create lasting value. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance, you will be pivotal in shaping the company's operational plan and creating scalable business models. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll be instrumental in translating intricate operational goals into financial outcomes. Your keen analytical skills and effective communication abilities will be put to good use as you cultivate strong relationships throughout the organization. What You’ll Do Take ownership of both short-term and long-term forecasting models, ensuring the leadership team has the data for precise decision-making. Collaborate closely with key cross-functional teams, in particular the go-to-market team, to gain insights into critical business developments that could impact future projections. Support for the comprehensive planning and execution of both the long-term strategic plan and the annual operating plan. Utilize an analytical approach to influence strategic decision-making, encompassing capital allocation and long-term financial planning choices. Execute essential financial processes, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, ROI-based resource allocation, and internal as well as external benchmarking. Monitor crucial performance metrics and offer valuable insights through regular reporting and ad hoc analysis. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in investment banking, management consulting, or strategic finance/FP&A. Expertise or coverage of go-to-market functions within any of these roles is a bonus but not a must. A track record of exceptional performance in demanding, high-calibre teams. Data-driven mindset, a bias for rapid decision-making, favouring excellence over perfection. Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex financial models. Demonstrated use of AI tools in analytical work - accelerating analysis, stress-testing assumptions, automating repetitive processes - and the judgment to know when human input is still essential. Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and investment analysis. Capability to comprehend and collaborate with various lines of business. Willingness to stretch beyond your comfort zone and embrace new challenges. Openness to feedback, with a commitment to continuous improvement, development, and innovation. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative field.
