Twilio · Remote - US
Twilio provides cloud‑based communications APIs that let businesses add messaging, voice, video and authentication to their applications. The Staff Mobile Engineer (P4) role sits within the Stytch team, which is building identity and fraud‑prevention products that will be offered across Twilio’s platform. Day‑to‑day work involves designing, implementing and maintaining mobile SDKs for Android (and potentially iOS) that enable secure authentication, fraud detection and emerging agentic identity flows. You will translate product requirements into technical specifications, write design documents, conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with product, platform and other engineering groups to align architecture and unblock cross‑team initiatives. The position expects deep technical ownership: you will make high‑impact decisions, monitor SDK performance through observability tools, drive incident response and continuously improve reliability. Ideal candidates have six or more years of professional mobile engineering experience, strong Kotlin or Java skills, a solid grasp of mobile ecosystems and libraries, and a track record of leading technical initiatives while keeping developer experience at the forefront.
