The Asset Planning Analyst intern will join the Montreal-based team to focus on the logistics and supply chain side of these operations. The primary responsibility involves managing spare parts planning and inventory allocation to ensure that micromobility assets remain functional and available for riders. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining demand forecasting models, tracking inventory levels, and collaborating with local operations teams and supply planners to optimize the flow of components. This role requires an analytical mindset capable of translating complex data into actionable long-term strategies. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong quantitative skills, and is proficient in building transparent, audit-ready models in Excel or Google Sheets. Success in this position depends on the ability to communicate technical findings to cross-functional stakeholders and a proactive approach to process improvement and supply chain management.

Lyft's team in Montreal is growing, and we are seeking an Asset Planning Analyst to support spare parts planning and allocation for every micromobility market Lyft operates. You will make sure the right repair parts reach the right markets at the right time, so bikes and scooters stay on the street and riders can count on them. You are an analytical thinker who is excited about building scalable processes. You build forecasts that hold up to scrutiny, then turn them into long term solutions that work on the ground. You will work in a fast paced environment alongside local operations teams, supply planners, and other cross-functional stakeholders. You are as comfortable building the model as you are aligning a room of market leaders on it. Responsibilities: Own demand forecasting, inventory management, optimization, and allocation for Lyft's current and future spare parts. Build models others can audit: documented assumptions, clear inputs and outputs, and tracked changes between versions. Run high visibility processes and frameworks that keep leadership and market teams aligned on spares needs. Partner with local market teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to continuously improve spares demand planning processes and dashboards. Leverage data to recommend hardware and operations initiatives, such as component upgrades, tooling improvements, incentive programs, or performance management frameworks. Lead special projects as needed. Limited travel to markets, warehouses, and vendors as required. Experience: 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy and operations, supply chain, transit, planning, analytics, or a related field. Excellent quantitative and financial acumen. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills are a must. SQL is a plus. Experience with supplier or vendor management is a plus. Outstanding written and verbal communicator who tailors the message and medium to the audience, and partners well up, down, and across the organization. Strong sense of ownership. You are excited about process optimization and continuous improvement. Ability to clarify complexity by blending vision and detail. Proactive and hands on when working through uncertainty. Curious and quick to learn new concepts spanning operations, supply chain, product, engineering, design, city partnerships, and beyond.
