full-timeAV Engineer - Platform
Spotify · Stockholm
Spotify, a global music streaming platform, relies on its IT Studio to provide the technology that keeps employees productive across offices worldwide. The AV Engineer II role focuses on delivering reliable and intuitive audiovisual experiences in Spotify’s Stockholm offices. Day‑to‑day tasks include designing, installing, and configuring meeting‑room AV systems, supporting routine meetings and high‑stakes executive events, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and coordinating with the global AV team, IT Support, NetOps, and external vendors to ensure seamless operation. The engineer also maintains documentation, monitors system performance, and implements upgrades or replacements as needed. This position suits candidates with hands‑on experience in audiovisual integration, familiarity with IT infrastructure and networking principles, and a track record of working in corporate or campus environments. Strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize multiple requests, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving are essential for keeping Spotify’s meeting spaces running smoothly.
The Platform team creates the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily, enabling rapid growth in our users and our business around the globe. Spanning many disciplines, we work to make the business work; creating the infrastructure, tooling, frameworks, and capabilities needed to welcome a billion customers. The IT Studio exists to remove the friction of work, unblocking Spotifiers anywhere, anytime, with simplicity and safety. We’re behind the technology that thousands of Spotifiers rely on every day, spanning devices, identity and access, networking, IT support, audio visual and meeting room technology, productivity platforms, work management tooling, and AI tooling. We’re looking for an AV Engineer II to join the IT Studio in Stockholm and help create reliable, intuitive AV experiences across our office. You’ll own everything from everyday meeting-room technology to high-stakes executive meetings, partnering with our global AV team, IT Support, NetOps, other technical teams, and external vendors.
