The HRIS Analyst role supports and enhances Figma’s Workday system, primarily the Core HCM module. Daily tasks include configuring business processes, notifications, alerts, and validation rules; maintaining security roles and ensuring SOX compliance; managing the HRIS support ticket queue by troubleshooting issues and recommending improvements; translating business requirements into scalable Workday solutions across modules such as Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking and Performance; building and maintaining reports, dashboards and calculated fields; creating, executing and debugging Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) integrations; testing new Workday releases and documenting configurations and procedures. The position suits candidates with four or more years of hands‑on Workday HCM configuration and security administration experience in a public‑company environment, who have managed support queues, built EIBs and advanced reports, and possess strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills. Strong communication and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a collaborative setting are essential.

We're looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented HRIS Analyst to support, maintain, and improve our Workday platform, with a focus on Core HCM — configuration, reporting, security, EIBs, notifications, and alerts. You'll also take on configuration and testing for larger projects across other Workday modules. Success here means balancing hands-on day-to-day support with thoughtful, scalable system improvements. This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you’ll do at Figma: Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM, including business processes, notifications, alerts, condition rules, validations, and related configuration Maintain and update Workday security roles and role assignments, partnering with stakeholders to ensure appropriate access and compliance with SOX and security best practices Manage the HRIS support ticket queue, triaging requests, resolving system issues, identifying root causes, and recommending process improvements; escalate complex problems as needed. Manage projects end to end, partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions, including work spanning modules such as Payroll, Advanced Comp, Time Tracking, Benefits, Performance, or Absence Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support business and compliance needs Create, execute, and troubleshoot Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) integrations to support data imports, exports, mass updates, and ongoing business operations Support Workday releases by evaluating new functionality, testing enhancements, and recommending adoption opportunities Maintain documentation for configurations, testing, and standard operating procedures We'd love to hear from you if you have: 4+ years of hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM business processes and administering security at a public company Experience managing an HRIS support queue or responding to end-user support requests Proficiency creating, executing, and troubleshooting EIBs, along with experience in Workday reporting, including standard and advanced reports and calculated fields Understanding of HR business processes across the employee lifecycle, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. Pay Transparency Disclosure Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. Figma provides paid sick leave, holidays, and other leave benefits in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the requirements of the Washington Minimum Wage Act and related regulations. Exempt employees are eligible for employer‑provided paid flexible PTO in addition to flexible paid sick leave. PTO is subject to manager approval. Additional benefits may include company recharge days, cell phone and home internet reimbursements, and a number of lifestyle spending accounts. Figma also offers sales incentive compensation for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles. All compensation and benefits are subject to applicable plan terms and may be modified by Figma at any time, consistent with applicable law.
