3-3 years experienceAbout the Role Payment Operations Analyst at Gusto will own end‑to‑end payment workflows, resolve exceptions, and improve system reliability across payroll, contractor payments, and international money movement. Responsibilities Support the payment lifecycle end‑to‑end, own operational layer of payment workflows including ACH processing, exception handling, refunds, collection re‑debits, and reconciliation. Investigate issues, escalate when needed, and drive resolution while identifying root causes. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to contribute to product specs, surface operational pain points, define requirements, and participate in launches. Gather customer and CX feedback to prioritize improvements and inform operational and product decisions. Work directly with bank and payment partners to triage issues and maintain relationships. Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, draft communications, synthesize data, and automate repetitive tasks. Requirements 3+ years of experience in payment operations, banking operations, treasury operations, or a related role at a fintech. Proficiency with ACH processing, reconciliation, and handling payment exceptions. Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, product, accounting, risk, and customer experience teams. Comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity. Eligibility
