The Senior Manager for FaaS Solutions and FinOps at Amazon operates at the intersection of finance, technology, and operational strategy. This role is well-suited for experienced professionals with a strong background in finance or accounting, such as CA, CS, CWA, or MBA graduates, who possess extensive experience in BPO solution design and process automation. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate consultative leadership, the ability to mentor junior team members, and the capacity to navigate complex, fast-paced environments while maintaining a focus on regulatory compliance and responsible AI frameworks.
The FaaS Solutions Senior Manager is responsible to assist Sales & Development team to bridge market demands with scalable products & solutions. This role engages cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, - 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 8+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts (BPO) solution design. - Demonstrated domain expertise in e-commerce, logistics, marketplace operations, or vendor management ecosystems. - Strong consultative skills with the ability to identify root-cause problems through effective questioning and active listening. - Analytical capability to synthesize qualitative stakeholder feedback with quantitative operational data to inform decision-making. - Direct experience with seller/vendor ecosystems, marketplace platforms, or fulfillment and logistics services. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex operational concepts for technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and adapt to evolving market conditio - Post Graduate in Finance/Accounts or professional qualification (CA, CS, CWA) - 8+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience - MBA, or CPA - Experience with ML platforms such as Amazon SageMaker, Vertex AI, or equivalent. - Familiarity with process mining tools and intelligent automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere). - Understanding of responsible AI frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., EU AI Act).
