Robinhood is a financial services platform that offers commission‑free stock, ETF and cryptocurrency trading to retail investors. The Crypto team designs how users buy, trade and interact with on‑chain assets, blending centralized and decentralized finance. As a Senior Product Designer on this team, you will shape the design strategy for Robinhood’s retail crypto experiences, leading both exploratory 0‑to‑1 concepts and incremental improvements to existing trading flows. Day‑to‑day work includes partnering with engineering, product, compliance and legal to turn complex crypto ideas into clear, intuitive interfaces; using AI tools to explore problem spaces, prototype quickly and maintain high craft standards; and guiding the long‑term vision for crypto products while ensuring they work for first‑time users and experienced traders alike. The role suits designers with strong end‑to‑end product experience, a habit of integrating AI into their workflow, solid systems thinking, and comfort navigating highly regulated environments. It is based in Robinhood’s Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY offices, with an expectation of at least three in‑person days per week.

Robinhood’s Crypto team owns how customers experience crypto at Robinhood, from buying their first coin to trading actively and going onchain with products that bring centralized and decentralized finance together. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll own design strategy and execution across retail crypto trading as well as support our onchain experiences. You’ll balance ambitious 0-to-1 bets that define new categories with the iterative, detail-driven work that makes our existing products faster, clearer, and more reliable. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, compliance, and legal, and help shape the long-term vision for retail crypto at Robinhood. Design at Robinhood is AI-first. This role is for someone who already uses AI as a core part of how they think, explore, and execute. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. What you'll do Lead and execute the product design strategy for our retail crypto experiences, balancing new bets with iterative improvements to our core surfaces. Collaborate directly with engineering, product, design leadership, and legal and compliance partners from initial concept to final launch. Bring clarity to complexity by turning complex concepts into highly usable and intuitive experiences that work for first-time users and crypto natives alike. Use AI to explore problem spaces, surface edge cases, and prototype quickly, while you guide intent, structure, and quality. Uphold the craft bar, and help set the standard for design quality across the crypto team. What you bring Strong product design experience working on complex, consumer-facing products with end-to-end ownership Active use of AI in your design workflow Solid systems thinking, balancing detail with the big picture Experience partnering with engineering, product, research, legal, and compliance in a highly regulated environment A strong bias for action: able to find the next step and move forward through ambiguity. In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits. Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
