The Strategy & Operations internship sits in the Office of the Chief Commercial Officer, supporting the CCO and senior leadership on high‑priority commercial initiatives that cut across product, finance, legal and sales. Interns will own workstreams from planning to delivery, craft analyses and executive‑level decks, prepare board and leadership materials, and act as a liaison between go‑to‑market teams and other functions. The day‑to‑day work involves tracking priorities, removing blockers, drafting communications, building financial or operational models in spreadsheets or SQL, and using AI tools to support analysis. The role suits candidates who have experience in management consulting, strategy or operations environments, can structure ambiguous problems, communicate concisely to executives, and thrive in fast‑moving, cross‑functional settings. 4-4 years experienceAbout the Role The Office of the Chief Commercial Officer is a small team that works directly with our CCO, go‑to‑market leadership, and company leadership on Anthropic’s highest‑priority commercial initiatives. You will own workstreams end to end, driving go‑to‑market initiatives, building analysis, and preparing executive content. Responsibilities Drive priority go‑to‑market initiatives from plan to delivery, removing blockers and connecting teams. Build analysis, draft documents or decks, and turn input from many teams into actionable recommendations. Prepare content for the CCO and leadership team, including weekly staff meetings, Board materials, and leadership offsites. Track top priorities, maintain status, owners, and risks. Act as a bridge between go‑to‑market and Product, Finance, Legal, Safeguards, and Research. Step in where something important has no clear owner, run it until it has a permanent home, and hand it over cleanly. Close out same‑day executive requests quickly and to a high standard. Requirements Have 4+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy and operations, or a chief of staff team. Structure ambiguous problems and deliver clear recommendations. Perform quantitative analysis in a spreadsheet, SQL, or with AI tools such as Claude. Write and speak clearly for executive audiences. Maintain trackers, chase open items, and manage shifting priorities. Build trust quickly with senior leaders. Comfortable using AI tools as a core part of work. Experience in technology, SaaS, enterprise software, or go‑to‑market strategy is a plus.
