Brex provides corporate cards, banking, spend management, bill pay and travel software to businesses operating in over 200 markets, helping them control spending and automate finance tasks. As a Manager, Collections & Recovery you will lead the collections team that handles past-due balances on Brex's unsecured business credit portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and developing team members, setting performance expectations, managing early-stage delinquency such as failed ACH payments and overseeing outreach queues, guiding late-stage delinquency workouts like payment plans and settlements, and determining account actions such as credit limit reductions or suspensions while coordinating with Risk, Legal and Account Servicing to execute decisions within policy. You will also partner with senior leadership to refine collections strategy, improve cure and recovery rates, and ensure customer relationships are preserved wherever possible. The role suits candidates with proven experience in business collections or credit risk, strong people-management skills, the ability to analyze delinquency trends, and comfort working with cross-functional partners to drive operational excellence.
