The Revenue Systems Director, Platform and Architecture role owns the technical foundation of Coupa’s revenue systems stack, defining its architecture, overseeing build, integration, data foundation and continuous improvement, and ensuring reliability, scalability and optimal total cost of ownership. The director sets the technical direction for the stack, determines how capabilities are delivered, and acts as the primary liaison between Revenue Operations and IT, Information Security, Procurement and external platform vendors. While sharing strategy, roadmap and solution design accountability with the Director, Revenue Systems – Revenue Operations, this position bears separate responsibility for the actual technical delivery of the platform. The role suits a senior leader with deep experience in enterprise revenue‑system architecture, platform engineering, large‑scale SaaS integrations and data‑centric solutions, who can drive cross‑functional collaboration and translate business requirements into robust, scalable technology.

The Impact of a Revenue Systems Director, Platform and Architecture at Coupa: The Director, Revenue Systems — Platform and Architecture is accountable for the architecture, build, integration, data foundation and continuous improvement of Coupa's revenue systems stack. The position sets the technical direction for the stack, determines how capabilities are delivered, and is accountable for the reliability, scalability and total cost of ownership of the platforms in scope. The position is the primary Revenue Operations interface to Information Technology, Information Security, Procurement and platform vendors. It holds joint accountability with the Director, Revenue Systems — Revenue Operations for strategy, roadmap and solution design, and separate accountability for technical delivery.
