Senior Product Designer, Mapping

Lyft is a transportation technology company focused on connecting riders and drivers through its rideshare platform. As a Senior Product Designer for the Mapping team, you will lead the end-to-end design process for the company's navigation and location-based features. Your day-to-day work will involve crafting intuitive turn-by-turn guidance, refining map styling, and developing AI-powered voice interfaces that assist drivers in real-time. You will be responsible for solving complex logistical challenges, such as optimizing pick-up and drop-off dynamics and ensuring driver safety through clear, glanceable visual information. This role requires you to work across organizational boundaries, partnering with product managers, researchers, and engineers to build scalable design systems and map assets.
