The Benefits Operations Specialist role is a remote position based in Ireland, reporting to the Senior Manager, People Operations EMEA within the People & Culture team. Day‑to‑day work involves administering Zscaler’s EMEA benefit programmes: managing new‑hire enrollments, leaver processing and off‑cycle qualifying life events, maintaining the monthly benefits‑to‑payroll data bridge, handling disability and sick‑leave insurance claims, conducting quarterly headcount audits for data integrity, acting as the senior escalation point for complex employee inquiries, and driving process improvements by documenting solutions in SOPs and overseeing vendor‑invoice reconciliation. The role suits candidates with a background in HR, business or a related field, at least four years of dedicated benefits experience, comfort working in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments, a proactive problem‑solver mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a growth‑oriented interest in leveraging AI tools to improve operational efficiency.

This a remote role based in Ireland, reporting to the Senior Manager, People Operations EMEA in the People & Culture department. As a Benefits Operations Specialist, you will be a subject matter expert in the day-to-day execution and administration of Zscaler’s EMEA benefit programs. You will serve as the backbone of the benefits function, ensuring that the employee life-cycle from onboarding to off-boarding is handled with precision, empathy, and compliance, focusing on high-touch administration of complex leave cases and the seamless delivery of our benefits concierge service. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) Lead the end-to-end administration for new hire enrollments, leaver processing, and off-cycle qualifying life events while owning the monthly benefits-to-payroll data bridge Manage the submission and tracking of insurance claims for disability and sick leave, conducting quarterly headcount audits to ensure 100% data integrity with all benefit providers Serve as the senior point of escalation for complex employee inquiries, resolving issues within defined SLAs and educating staff on the most beneficial support options Identify process ambiguities to document solutions in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manage the end-to-end invoice reconciliation process for all vendor billing Who You Are (Success Profile) You thrive in ambiguity. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Demonstrate a proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency. Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 4+ years of dedicated experience in HR Benefits administration, with an emphasis on benefits operations Technical proficiency in HRIS (Workday preferred), payroll systems, and benefit vendor portals Advanced Excel skills for data auditing, payroll reporting, and invoice reconciliation What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Direct experience working within a global, public SaaS or high-growth technology organization Demonstrated ability to operate independently and make sound decisions with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment #LI-Remote #LI-LJ1 Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and determined by role and level.
